WASHINGTON: This was acknowledged by the coordinator for strategic communications at the White House National Security Council, John Kirby, during a briefing.
"We are still negotiating with them about this," he said in response to a journalist's question about whether Washington had expanded the zone of use of US weapons on Russian territory in the wake of the Ukrainian attack on the Kursk region.
At the same time, Kirby noted that at the moment there have been no changes in US policy regarding strikes on Russian territory.
"I have nothing to say today about any shift in policy in one direction or another," he explained.
The coordinator for strategic communications was also unable to confirm to journalists the information about the use of American HIMARS MLRS by the Kyiv regime militants in the Kursk region.
