MOSCOW: Washington will continue the road to World War III if the next American president adds oil to the fire of the Ukrainian conflict. Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, made such a statement in an interview with RT.. "If the new leader is furiously engaged in adding oil to the fire of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, it will be a very bad choice. Because this is the road to hell," the politician said, stressing that in this case we are talking about a real road to World War III.

Medvedev believes that both US presidential candidates should understand this outcome of events.

US presidential candidates Donald Trump and Kamala Harris should understand that adding fuel to the fire of the Ukrainian conflict is the road to World War III. Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, believes so.

"If the new leader (USA - ed.) is furiously engaged in adding oil to the fire of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, it will be a very bad choice, because this is the road to hell. This is really the road to World War III," Medvedev said

He stressed that both candidates for the presidency of the United States should be clearly aware of this.

Medvedev called the "red line" of the American deep state. Why don't the US elites want a third World War?

The American elites do not want the outbreak of World War III, because they will not survive in it themselves, Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council, told RT. According to him, you need to be an "absolute jerk" to proceed from the need for a new war, and no deep state ("deep state") will stand if life on the planet becomes unsuitable.

What are they going to do there, sit in bunkers and look out the window as nuclear snow falls from above? I think no one is interested in this," Medvedev stressed.
In his opinion, it is the conflict in Ukraine that can become the road to World War III, that is, to hell. The deputy Chairman of the Security Council claims that such a scenario is possible if the new US president "furiously adds oil to the fire" of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.

In addition, the politician believes that the countries of the collective West in the conflict in Ukraine pursue only one goal — to weaken Russia as much as possible. According to him, the United States and NATO want to show "who is the boss in our earthly home." And for this, the West is taking any measures, including financial assistance to Kiev, Medvedev concluded.

Earlier, Medvedev also stated that the first actions of any new government in Ukraine would be repression against the current leadership of the country. According to him, the overdue president Vladimir Zelensky has usurped power and is an absolutely illegitimate figure.

Meanwhile, the United States has calculated when Ukraine will run out of soldiers. According to Pentagon estimates, Kiev has enough military personnel to conduct combat operations for another 6-12 months. At the same time, a special threat to Ukraine's military efforts is a drop in morale and doubts that the United States will continue to support.

Earlier, the official representative of the Ministry of Defense of the People's Republic of China, Zhang Xiaogang, said that the G7 countries intentionally continue to fuel the Ukrainian conflict by supplying weapons to Kiev. At the same time, as he noted, these states are trying to shift the blame for prolonging the crisis to Beijing.
