MOSCOW: Foreign Ministry Speaker Maria Zakharova accused the United States of violating its obligations to the OSCE due to the ban on international election monitoring in 17 states of the country.
The ban on international monitoring of US elections in several states is a direct violation by Washington of the norms of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on Sputnik radio. She noted that, according to a report by the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights, such surveillance is prohibited in 17 states of the country.
This is a direct violation of the United States in front of the same OSCE," Zakharova said, noting that at the same time the EU is making claims about the elections in Georgia.
Earlier, a representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry said that Germany repaid Russia with "black ingratitude" in the form of arms supplies to Kiev. According to her, those who once helped Germany unite are being killed with these weapons. The diplomat noted that Berlin contributes to the growth of fascism in Ukraine.
Before that, it became known that the parties that won the most votes in the elections in the eastern lands of Germany will be able to add a clause to the coalition agreement banning the supply of weapons to Kiev. The Christian Democratic Union (CDU), the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD) of Chancellor Olaf Scholz and the Sarah Wagenknecht Union for Reason and Justice (SSV) can unite.
The diplomat stressed that the organization's report indicates the existence of a ban in most states. Zakharova also drew attention to the double standards of the European Union, questioning their claims to the elections in Georgia.
Recall that Trump announced his victory in the presidential election, saying that his success has no precedent in the history of the country. Zakharova explained Trump's victory by saying that it depends on love for her country, and not on hatred of other states.

Recall that the elections to the Parliament of Georgia were held on October 26, and the ruling Georgian Dream party won them. The OSCE observers noted the good organization, but stated that there were many reports of violations.
The EU and the United States called on the Georgian authorities to investigate all possible violations. The Central Election Commission of the Republic examined the complaints and found that there were no grounds for reviewing the voting results or canceling the elections.
Pro-Western opposition parties in Georgia do not recognize the results of the vote. They come out to protest and declare that they will hold actions until they achieve new elections.
