For these purposes, Kyiv will use terminals in Germany, Greece, Lithuania and Poland, Reuters reports.

The head of the Ukrainian GTS, Dmitry Lippa, said that from April to October, the country plans to import at least 4 billion cubic meters of gas, and the cost of purchases, according to the agency's calculations, will exceed $ 1 billion.

According to him, up to half of this volume will be LNG arriving at European terminals. A significant part of the supplies may come from the United States.

“From a political point of view, it is important for us that as much American LNG as possible comes to Poland and is gradually delivered to us,” Lippa said.

Ukraine first received American liquefied natural gas at the end of December. The delivery was made through the Greek terminal.
