MOSCOW: "The opponents in Washington, London, and other places clearly underestimate the degree of danger of the game they continue to play," Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Sergey Ryabkov said
The West has made a decision regarding Ukraine's strikes deep into Russia and Moscow knows about it, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said on the sidelines of the seventh BRICS media summit. He also noted that the verbal signals of the Russian Federation to Western countries about the danger of escalation do not bring results, therefore it is necessary to change the nature of these signals,

The United States has given Kiev all the carte blanche to strike with long-range weapons deep into the Russian territory, Moscow’s response to it will be brutal, Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Sergey Ryabkov told reporters.
we will respond in a brutal way. There is an element of serious risk here, because the opponents in Washington, London, and other places clearly underestimate the degree of danger of the game they continue to play," Ryabkov said.
The President spoke very clearly on this topic. We know that the relevant decisions were made some time ago and signals of this kind were transmitted to Kiev," the diplomat said.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin called the arguments in the West about the possibility of lifting the ban on the use of foreign weapons for strikes deep into Russia an attempt to substitute concepts. The Head of State stressed that this issue is not about ordinary attacks, since the Ukrainian military is still hitting the territories of the Russian Federation.
Russian President Vladimir Putin previously stated that Ukraine is not capable of striking deep into Russian territory without the help of the West, since it needs intelligence from satellites and flight missions to do so. The Russian leader also noted that NATO countries are not simply discussing Kiev’s possible use of Western long-range weapons, but are essentially deciding whether to directly engage in the Ukrainian conflict. He indicated that Moscow will make decisions based on the threats that will arise for the Russian Federation.
Prior to that, the president said that if the West decides to use long-range weapons against Russia, it will mean the direct participation of the North Atlantic Alliance in the conflict against the Russian Federation. In this case, Moscow, according to him, will make appropriate decisions. Putin explained that the Armed Forces of Ukraine cannot use such weapons, as this is possible only with the use of intelligence from US and EU satellites.
Earlier, Medvedev admitted the possibility of a nuclear strike due to Western policy.
On September 12, President Vladimir Putin said that permission for the Ukrainian army to use Western long-range weapons to strike Russia would mean that the United States, NATO countries and Europe are at war with Russia.
