MOSCOW: Putin Decides to Increase the Regular Number of Russian Armed Forces to 2,389,130 ​​Units

The number of Armed Forces in Russia will increase, a decree on this was signed by Vladimir Putin, the document was posted on the website of the official publication of legal acts.

“I decree: 1. To establish the regular strength of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation at 2,389,130 ​​units, including 1,500,000 military personnel,” the document says.

The head of state instructed the government to allocate the funds from the budget to the Ministry of Defense necessary to implement the decree.

In accordance with the previous presidential decree of December 1, 2023, the regular strength of the Armed Forces was set at 2,209,130 ​​people, including 1,320,000 military personnel.
