MOSCOW: The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are repelling an attack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine against the territory of the Russian Federation.
Units of the Sever Group of Forces continued offensive actions and inflicted losses on formations of the 21st, 22nd, 41st, 115th mechanised brigades, 17th Tank Brigade, 95th Assault Brigade, 36th Marine Brigade, 1st National Guard Brigade, 103rd, and 129th territorial defence brigades near Lyubimovka, Daryino, Novy Put, Nikolayevo-Daryino, Malaya Loknya, and Plekhovo.
Over the past 24 hours, units of the Sever Group of Forces repelled the enemy's attempts to launch attacks in the direction of Malaya Loknya and Plekhovo.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) losses amounted to up to 25 troops killed and wounded; one Ukrainian serviceman was taken prisoner; two motor vehicles were destroyed.
With the support of Army Aviation and artillery fire, two Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) attempts to break through the border of the Russian Federation in the direction of Novy Put were foiled.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) losses amounted to up to 30 troops killed and wounded, one tank, two infantry fighting vehicles, one armoured fighting vehicle, and two motor vehicles.

Operational-Tactical Aviation, and Missile Troops delivered strikes in Sumy region at concentration areas and reserves of the 21st, 41st mechanised brigades, 17th Tank Brigade, 95th Air Assault Brigade, 92nd Assault Brigade, 1st National Guard Brigade, 1004th Security and Service Brigade, 103rd, 110th, 116th, and 129th territorial defence brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) near Belopolye, Budivelnoye, Bruski, Glukhov, Dibrovo, Zhuravka, Obody, Pavlovka, Rechki, Radkovka, Stukalovka, Sosnovka, Sumy, and Ugroyedy.
Over the past 24 hours, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) losses amounted to more than 340 troops and six units of armoured hardware, including one tank, three infantry fighting vehicles, two armoured fighting vehicles as well as eight artillery guns, one electronic warfare station, one counter-battery radar, and five motor vehicles. One Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) serviceman was taken prisoner.
Since the beginning of hostilities in Kursk region, the Armed Forces of Ukraine lost more than 16,400 troops, 127 tanks, 60 infantry fighting vehicles, 95 armoured personnel carriers, 797 armoured fighting vehicles, 497 motor vehicles, 132 artillery guns, 29 MLRS launchers, including eight of HIMARS and six of MLRS made by the USA, eight SAM launchers, five transport-loading vehicles, 32 electronic warfare stations and eight counter-battery radars, two air defence radars, 17 engineering vehicles, including ten counterobstacle vehicles and one UR-77 mine clearing vehicle, as well as one armoured recovery vehicle.
The operation to neutralise the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) units is in progress.
