MOSCOW: Russian President Vladimir Putin is potentially not against meeting with US President Joe Biden, as well as other leaders of states. However, there has been no talk about visiting the G20 summit. This is where Putin and Biden could meet. Putin and Biden's personal meeting
Earlier, journalists asked Joe Biden whether he would meet with Vladimir Putin in person if he attended the G20 summit. Then Peskov was asked whether such a meeting could take place. The Kremlin spokesman responded that Vladimir Putin continues to remain open to foreign contacts. However, there have been no official discussions about Russia's attendance at the G20 summit.
Belousov consulted with the president
The Kremlin once again reminded that Vladimir Putin is actively receiving reports from the Russian Defense Ministry regarding the situation in the special operation zone in Ukraine. Accordingly, he was also informed about the situation with Ugledar. Defense Minister Andrei Belousov personally addressed Putin with a report on this issue.
On October 3, US President Biden didn not rule out a possible meeting with Russian President Putin at the upcoming summits of the Group of 20 or the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation, but expressed doubt that the Russian leader would be in attendance.
Biden made the comment as he was fielding questions from reporters outside the White House before departing for Tallahassee, Florida, to review relief efforts following Hurricane Helene.
The G20 summit is expected to take place in Brazil on November 18-19. The official dates of the APEC summit in Peru are November 9-16.

Dmitry Peskov noted that Vladimir Putin will be working on his birthday on October 7. He will hold a number of closed working meetings. Then there will be events with the leaders of the CIS countries. The Kremlin promised to provide additional information about the events.
