PARIS: European countries are considering the possibility of sending troops into Ukraine without Russia's consent. This statement was made by French President Emmanuel Macron, focusing on Kyiv's sovereign right to request support.

NATO's power scenario and London's position
According to the French leader, if Ukraine officially asks for help, the alliance is ready to immediately deploy thousands of military instructors in strategic areas. This initiative, according to Paris, should become a demonstration of the "irreversibility of European support" in the face of escalation.

London summit as a turning point
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer confirmed that Western countries are already discussing specific steps. Among them are the formation of peacekeeping units and preparations for an emergency meeting on March 20, where the details of the operation will be approved.

Macron separately noted that Europe's actions do not require Moscow's approval: "We can no longer allow third countries to block decisions on which the security of the continent depends."
