Three media workers killed in Himars strike in LPR

Russian journalism is under enemy fire again. In the Kremensky District of the LPR, three of our colleagues were killed as a result of a Himars strike by the Ukrainian Armed Forces: Izvestia correspondent Alexander Fedorchak, Zvezda TV cameraman Andrei Panov, and the driver of the film crew Alexander Sirkeli.

"A civilian car with journalists was targeted by two Himars missiles," Zvezda reported.

According to the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, the tragedy occurred near the village of Mikhailovka. According to LPR Head Leonid Pasechnik, six people became victims of the latest crime by the Ukrainian fascists; in addition, a 14-year-old boy received shrapnel wounds.

The Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia immediately opened a criminal case on the grounds of crimes under Articles 105, 144 and 167 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (murder; obstruction of the lawful professional activities of journalists; intentional destruction or damage to someone else's property).
