MOSCOW: The US has called on European representatives to stop talking about imaginary threats from Russia and to urgently and promptly conclude a peace agreement to resolve the Ukrainian conflict. This was stated by former US Army Colonel Douglas MacGregor on his page on the social network X.
"Britain is about to suffer a financial collapse, France is not far behind, and the Germans are in big trouble. They have no resources. It's time to make peace, too many people have died!" he wrote.
At the moment, many European leaders are claiming that they are supposedly ready for war with Russia in the event of such a situation, but in fact, none of the EU countries have yet been able to confirm in practice the seriousness of their words, MacGregor explained.
Earlier, Finnish President Alexander Stubb said that it was also time for Western countries to act to further end the conflict in Ukraine. Now the states should pay attention not to sending their soldiers to Kyiv, but to the settlement of the SVO. According to the leader, politicians have strayed from the originally planned path.
